    Corteiz Jacket: Agent Cost Check

Introduction When comparing the costs of cross-border shopping agents, you can't just look at the exchange rate displayed on a product page or a single shipping quote. For the same fall/winter jacket, first fix the RMB value of the goods, destination, package weight, dimensions, and product category, then record exchange rate, fees, chargeable weight, shipping line, transit time, and tax terms separately. This article uses a unified example: destination is the United States, product value is 100

    Corteiz Jacket: Agent Cost Check

    Introduction

When comparing the costs of cross-border shopping agents, you can't just look at the exchange rate displayed on a product page or a single shipping quote. For the same fall/winter jacket, first fix the RMB value of the goods, destination, package weight, dimensions, and product category, then record exchange rate, fees, chargeable weight, shipping line, transit time, and tax terms separately.

This article uses a unified example: destination is the United States, product value is 1000 RMB, package actual weight is 2000 grams, dimensions are 35 × 25 × 15 cm, and product category is Clothes / Common Goods. Exchange rate and fee data come from the corresponding platform data pages on FashionReps; shipping data only uses estimates from the LitBuy official calculator on October 26, 2026.

    First Fix the Verification Conditions

Before verification, establish an immutable row of package conditions:

    • Destination: United States, country code US
    • Product value: 1000 RMB
    • Product category: Clothes / Common Goods
    • Package actual weight: 2000 grams
    • Package dimensions: 35 × 25 × 15 cm
    • Billing currency: USD
    • Query time: October 26, 2026

The reason for this is that exchange rate, payment fees, and international shipping are not the same variable. Exchange rate affects the conversion of RMB value, payment fees may increase or decrease cost after conversion, and shipping depends on actual or volumetric weight, route, discounts, taxes, and transit time.

How to Unify Calculation of Exchange Rate and Fees

The calculation order should be fixed as:

    1. First divide the RMB value by the exchange rate from the platform data to get the USD amount before fees.
    2. Then calculate fees according to the fee terms in the data.
    3. Add the base amount and fees to get the example payment amount.
    4. Record the date of the rate data, and do not treat a one-time query result as a permanent rate.

    The formulas are as follows:

Base amount = RMB value ÷ exchange rate

Example payment amount = Base amount × (1 + fee rate)

When the fee is negative, it means a deduction according to the data terms; when the fee is zero, no additional amount is added.

AgentExchange RateFee Terms1000 RMB Base AmountExample Payment AmountData Date
    LitBuy5.69Agent Markup: 0175.75 USD175.75 USD2026-09-19
    USFans6.01Payment Fees: +5.49%166.39 USD175.52 USD2026-08
    Superbuy6.19Wise bank transfer: -3.13%161.55 USD156.49 USD2026-09
    Superbuy6.19Credit card, Apple Pay: +3.94%161.55 USD167.92 USD2026-09

The above results only reflect the conversion of the same RMB value and the recorded payment fees, and do not include international shipping or represent the final charge. The two rows for Superbuy are different payment method terms and cannot be merged into a single fixed fee.

    Take USFans as an example:

    1000 ÷ 6.01 = 166.39 USD

    166.39 × 1.0549 ≈ 175.52 USD

Take LitBuy as an example, the fee term is 0, so the example payment amount remains 175.75 USD. Before actual payment, reconfirm the platform's current exchange rate, payment channel, and fees.

Shipping Must Use the Same Package Conditions

Current evidence only includes unified scenario results from the LitBuy official shipping calculator, and cannot be used to infer international shipping for USFans, Superbuy, or other platforms. The following routes are all from the LitBuy official calculator, using the same US destination, 2000 grams cargo weight, 35 × 25 × 15 cm dimensions, and Clothes / Common Goods category.

Official RouteEstimated Shipping CostOriginal PriceChargeable WeightDiscount StatusTax TermsEstimated Transit Time
    ZF-GOFO-US-147.44 USD72.41 USD2000 g40% discountTax free8–16 business days
    FF-GOFO-US-248.44 USD74.76 USD2000 g40% discountTax free9–18 business days
    FF-GOFO-US-349.65 USD76.78 USD2000 g40% discountTax free8–16 business days

The calculator records the cargo weight as 2000 grams, volumetric weight as 1640 grams, and billing is based on actual weight. The route estimates are as of October 26, 2026, in USD. The discounts, route availability, chargeable weight, taxes, and transit time shown may change depending on query time, destination, product attributes, and package dimensions.

Therefore, you cannot write 47.44 USD as the shipping cost for all agents, nor treat the calculator estimate as the final weighed bill.

How to Calculate a Verifiable Total Cost

When evidence is complete, you can use the following formula:

Total cost = payment amount after conversion of product value + international shipping + other clearly stated fees

If still using LitBuy's 1000 RMB example, and temporarily only adding the three shipping estimates from its official calculator, the resulting example range is:

    • 175.75 + 47.44 = 223.19 USD
    • 175.75 + 48.44 = 224.19 USD
    • 175.75 + 49.65 = 225.40 USD

These three results apply only to the current example conditions, LitBuy's payment fee terms, and the above three routes. They do not include fees not explicitly listed in the evidence, and cannot replace re-weighing after arrival and the final quote before payment.

    Screenshot and Record Template

Each platform should be archived separately, recording at least the following fields:

    • Query time and time zone
    • Agent name
    • Exchange rate value and its source date
    • Payment method and fee terms
    • RMB product value
    • Destination country and postal code, if required by the platform
    • Product category
    • Actual weight, volumetric weight, and chargeable weight
    • Package dimensions
    • Route name
    • Original price, discounted price, and discount status
    • Tax terms
    • Estimated transit time
    • Original URL of the calculator page or official data page

The exchange rate and fee data pages for this time are:

    • LitBuy: https://fashion-reps.net/litbuy-spreadsheet, data date 2026-09-19.
    • USFans: https://fashion-reps.net/usfans-spreadsheet, data date 2026-08.
    • Superbuy: https://fashion-reps.net/superbuy-spreadsheet, data date 2026-09.
    • LitBuy shipping calculator: https://litbuy.com/estimation, query time 2026-10-26.

    Stop Conditions Before Payment

If any of the following occurs, stop comparing and do not fill in a seemingly precise minimum total cost:

    • Exchange rate has no query date, or payment method is unclear.
    • Only one platform's shipping conditions are available, unable to support cross-platform shipping conclusions.
    • Destination, weight, dimensions, or product category changes.
    • Chargeable weight and actual weight are inconsistent, but the reason is not explained.
    • Discounted price, route availability, or tax terms are not shown.
    • Only pre-estimate, without final weighed bill after arrival.
    • Fee source page cannot be opened, has expired, or content has changed.

In conclusion, the focus of unified verification is not to find a static minimum number, but to have each platform calculate separately under the same package conditions, and record exchange rate, fees, shipping, route, discounts, taxes, and time separately. Current evidence can support LitBuy's example shipping range and the exchange rate and fee conversions for three platforms, but is insufficient to support specific international shipping conclusions for USFans or Superbuy.

    How I test

Dana reads the receipts before she reads the draft. For every comparison she checks that the order number, intake timestamp, weighed dimensions and charged fee all tie back to a logged test, then tests the score against our five-point language: is this a 4 because it is good, or a 3 because something was merely adequate? She rejects any table where a rate was copied from an older page without a fresh check date.
