We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection on 4 September 2026: one size L, print code 5018 black, $8.51 against a $10.14 list price, SKU 7718829942, listed in stock. The seller's own weight field read 0.00, so nothing about the parcel could be estimated from the listing — which is why this review is built around a re-shoot request and a scale rather than the 40-photo colour grid.

Why we asked for a second photo set
The grid that ships with this listing is a colour chart, not an inspection. Dozens of print codes, each in black, white and apricot, photographed on the same flat white background: excellent for choosing a graphic, useless for judging whether the hem is a clean double row or whether the print has a hard, plasticky edge. Our first set showed the front print clearly and the hem only in shadow.
The re-shoot resolved two things. The hem is a folded, twin-needle row with no puckering along its 57 cm width. The print edge is soft but tidy, with no halo of adhesive outside the graphic. It did not resolve the fabric weight, which no photograph can.
The weigh-in: 228 g of cotton, 600 g of air
| Measurement | Our bench | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tee, size L | 228 g | Singled out on our scale, to the nearest 10 g |
| Packed in agent poly bag | 240 g | 27 × 21 × 4 cm |
| Volumetric, ÷ 6000 | 380 g | 2,268 cm³ |
| As it first arrived, bagged loose | 600 g billable | 30 × 24 × 5 cm, 3,600 cm³ |
| Outer carton with two other items | 410 g | Carton weight only, tee excluded |
This is the part of a cheap tee that nobody budgets for. A lightweight cotton garment loses the chargeable-weight argument on volume every time: the first, loosely bagged version of this tee quoted 600 g billable against 240 g of actual goods. A tighter fold took 220 g of billable weight out of the parcel without touching the shirt. Both USFans and Kakobuy bill the greater of actual and volumetric weight with a 6,000 divisor, so a $8.51 tee is a filler item, not a parcel — put it in a box with something dense.
What the fabric does and does not prove
The listing claims long-staple cotton at 220 g, a no-iron finish and moisture-wicking behaviour. The 220 g figure is a fabric weight per square metre, so a garment on a scale cannot confirm it; 228 g for a size L is consistent with a mid-weight jersey, and that is as far as we will go. After a 40 °C wash and a line dry, the body needed a fold rather than an iron, though the print panel held a faint crease across the chest until the second wear. We are not treating a single wash as proof of a durable anti-crease treatment, and nothing in the listing or in buyer threads independently supports the wicking claim.
Construction impressions: shoulders sit 2 cm past the natural shoulder, the collarless neck opening measures 20 cm across and rolls slightly backward on the first wear, and the side seams carry roughly 6 mm of allowance.
Sizing: the one thing we will not settle for you
Flat measurements on our size L: 57 cm across the chest, 73 cm body length, 57 cm hem. That is a relaxed, boxy shape rather than a dramatic oversize, but it is not slim either.
The community evidence is genuinely split, and we are keeping it that way. r/Rhude buyers describe the tees as oversized and recommend a full size down; one r/streetwear buyer moved from a usual large to a small; other r/Rhude users say they size down in some silhouettes and keep their normal size in others. Retail listings disagree with each other too — some describe the house tees as intended to be oversized with a sizing-down recommendation, others call the fit true to size. Since this listing offers S–XL only, the difference between a normal size and one size down is the whole fit. Ask your agent for the flat chest and length of the exact code before you pay.
The option grid, briefly
Thirty-four print codes across black, white and apricot, in four sizes. Two codes — 5002 and 5001 — appear in black and white only, with no apricot row, so a colour-led shortlist can quietly lose options. The print motif is a letter/brand-logo graphic in every case; there is no plain-body variant.
Our score: 4.3 / 5
We scored it as a mid-weight, cleanly finished graphic tee at a very low price, with points deducted for a fit that cannot be predicted from the label and two performance claims we could not verify in one wash. The 19-minute re-shoot turnaround and a garment weight that matched the hand-feel both helped; the chargeable-weight gap is a parcel-planning fact, not a defect in the shirt.
Does the 220 g figure match what you weighed?
Not directly comparable. 220 g is a fabric weight per square metre, so a garment scale cannot confirm it. Our size L weighed 228 g, consistent with mid-weight cotton, but that is inference rather than proof of the stated weight.
How fast did the agent handle the re-shoot request?
Nineteen minutes. We asked at 09:12 for the hem row, neck label and inside shoulder seam, and received four extra frames at 09:31. The original set had nine photos, all of the print and bag.
Should I size down in this tee?
Community reports conflict: r/Rhude buyers mostly advise a full size down, one r/streetwear buyer went from large to small, and others keep their normal size in certain cuts. Ask for the flat chest and length of your exact code before paying.
